After being diagnosed with a fatal illness, six-year-old Stephanie Renner's only wish is to be taken to the top of Mt. Everest so that she can be closer to heaven and talk to Jesus. As a fan of Larry Buttram’s writing, I was pleased to know that he had written a collection of short stories.  I was delighted to read The Greatest Gift.  In these stories, the characters try to deal with real life problems.  God encourages the people in the stories, and you are left with a truly inspirational feeling after reading them.
